I was tempted
but I resisted
it was easy
when I had no desire
when I had no need
when I had no hunger
I said, “No”
before I met you

FAR AWAY BUT ALWAYS BONDED
‘TIL WE DANCE AGAIN
THE COMFORT OF QUIET
THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS
YOUR WORDS MADE ME BELIEVE
HIS MIDNIGHT PRAYERS
I CARRY THE SCARS
A TWO FACED LANDSCAPE
AN INTIMATE KISS
THE LOVER OF THE LIGHT
COME STAND WITH ME
THE MOON KNOWS ALL MY SECRETS
I WANT A GOOD SAMARITAN GOVERNMENT
THE LAND OF THE FREE AND THE HOME OF THE BRAVE- A MESSAGE FOR AMERICA
LET THE WINDS CARRY YOU HOME
UNDER HER BRANCHES
A PAINTER AT HEART
HER EYES
HER MOSAIC HEART

The First Sunrise Of January
Always Leaves Me Wondering
What Lies Ahead
Just Out Of Sight
Over The Horizon
In My Tomorrows
And Then It Leads My
Mind Back Over The
Last Year And
Way Back When Too
Recalling
Moments And Memories
And What If’s And
Might Have Beens
Things That Never Were
But Could Have Been
And The Happiness
That Was And
The Blessings
That I Have
Regrets
And Bittersweet
Memories Escape
Their Cell
Deep In My Heart
On The First
Sunrise Of January
Before Being
Escorted Away
Sometimes The Heart
And Soul
Need To Reflect,
Remember And Wonder,
So They Will Be
More Grateful,
And Happy During
The Coming Year
The First Sunrise Of January
Is The Demarcation,
The Ending And Beginning,
One Year Passing Away Into History
As The New Year Is Born
The First Sunrise Of January
Is The “First Time”
You Get To Make An X
On The New Year’s Calendar

if yesterday were a door
would you find her hand
where the sunset slid
if yesterday were a door
would you hold her smile
where the memories hid

Your Words
Hurt Me,
Each One
A Pointed Dart
Aimed And Thrown
At My Heart
And Soul
Burning Words,
Like Hot Wax
Spit Upon My Skin
Your Actions
Showed Me Feelings
That Confused
My Tender Heart
Your Memories
Haunt Me
With Shadows
They Still Cast
Ever Present Ghosts
Whispering From The Past
Your Heart
Deceived Me
With Your Professed
Love
Like A Bee
You Fed
On Nectar
From My Flower
Promising
I Was Your
Only Lover
I Learned
That Was A Lie
When You Left Me
For Another
With No Good-Bye
I Still Hear Those
Ever Present Ghosts
Whispering From The Past
