Life Is So Fast Paced
Anymore
And Time Seems So
Fleeting
With Us
Rushing Around
In Our Own
Little Whirlwinds
The Roses
Go Unsmelled
Along With The Coffee,
Too
We Are Always
Leashed Up
To Electronics
And The Whole
Wide World
Around Us
While The Important
And The Lovely
Are Left Unattended
And Not Admired
I Want To Stop
Our World
From Spinning
Around Us
In A Vortex
I Need To
Hold You
In My Arms
And Look
Into Your Eyes
For You Are
My Anchor,
You Are My World
And All That
Really Matters
To Me
We Need To
Protect
The Shangri La
Of Us
So We Can
Grow Old
Together
And Still Be
In Love

Magic flows in the
wounded places,
brings new life,
growing pains,
new patterns,
new hope.
But the risks…
it’s hard to take the risks.
We’re surrounded by
unfinished things,
always taking the present
and turning it into the future,
over and over and over and over…
it doesn’t end until we do.
Creating courage never ends,
is never perfect,
always full of doubt,
always becoming
—but only through risk.
