There are many things you can’t control

Your heart

Another’s heart

no matter how much you might want to

It is a fact of life that

hopes and wishes

dreams and prayers

don’t always happen or come to pass

We may have relationships and love

that we have always dreamed of

but sometimes

happenstance

fate or luck

intervene and force a change

to our plans and choices

Not all relationships

are meant to be forever

sometimes they are only meant

to be for awhile

There may be many things you can’t control

but there are some things you can

Maybe it’s time to dream a new dream

It might be time to

move on

forgive and forget

let go

and follow your own pathway

into a new and better life

BURST OUT

My veins are all charged up

Giving pressure to my nerves

The indicators are so excited

To blast inside

To say louder and louder

Lanturne Poem: Stars,

Poetry challenge: Lanturne poen.

Stars
twinkling
in the sky,

If I May

It seems my mind is wandering
Waking, I have more words to say
So if you will indulge me a little
Let me sit and ramble, if I may.

Moon,

Look at the sky tonight,
with the moon shining so bright.
Numerous sparkling eyes on the moon,
hoping that wishes will come true soon.
That soft and heartwarming feel,
as if letting all troubles and pain heal.
A flow of comfort flows through me,
an inner beauty we cannot see.
