summer moon – haiku

by billgncs

At Solstice and Summer’s moon….

beneath summer’s moon
I undress you with my eyes
forever lovely

moonlit eyes, inviting gaze
silk rustles in the cricket’s serenade
goosebumps and indecision

false calm, racing heart
so close, so pure, so trusting
first kiss, seduction

forbidden choices
spend one thousand days of sorrow
sample Adam’s fruit
