Poetic Procreation

by Harry

Submitted by Pasithea AnimaLibera

.

Emotions unsorted are ovum aborted.
Words unrecorded are sperms wasted.
Pieces of writing unshared left crumpled
are pieces of us neglected or distorted.

The mind releases its emotional ovum
to meet words’ sperms on ink.
A Fallopian hand etches them
unto a papyrus uterus.
There they grow and divide
into stanza or couplet cells.
They latch and feed
from imagination’s placenta.

Shades of Emotions

by Harry

Submitted by cmapillay

.

You are the one who coloured my world, as I made this turn and entered your life,
You are the one who gives life to my breath, while I try to make this life worthwhile.
When you’ll be far I’ll hear you close, when you’ll be close I’ll hear you within,
When I’ll be far you’ll feel me close, when you close your eyes, a dream will begin.

Red ( A poem)

by Harry

As you drip through my fingers
like a naked truth
and I hide you,
behind all the shameful veils
like a proverbial truth
you exist
and flows in my veins;

“Interlewd”

by Harry

Submitted by zaoffpoetry

.

Secrets steeped
in krait secretions
& sencha leaves
brewed grume
i poured myself
a cup of illusion ~
… your shaitan
loomed in the steam
an amorphous penumbra
rising to
seduction in your lips,
licking across
the bleeding seam …
i spill into
the stained tablecloth,
liquesce into the creases
all calligraphic arches
of invitation

Pride

Chest thumping your way
to the eternal damnation
living in the land of giants
and self-loathing with your
mortal existence
you are swelled with pride
bloated with the mortal sin

Broken Reflections

by Harry

Submitted by Pasithea AnimaLibera

.

Reflections are actions
shown in light or thought.

Sometimes serene like
reflections off a lake.

Sometimes broken like
refractions off broken glass.

Between light and thought
is a dream reflected or refracted.

When thoughts dance
to beauty in semblance
life regains balance.

When words give reference
to beauty making a difference
expression creates reverence.

My Friend the Wind

by Harry

Submitted by Pasithea AnimaLibera

.

My friend the Wind-
is a lady who changes-
Personas with every dress!

You can hear her voice-
go up and down with-
every lapel and pleat!

Chagrined about her coif-
she turns into a dust devil.

The written word pines for yesteryear

by Harry

Submitted by Katherine Shipp

.

But it pines from under mossy rocks.
The wise walk right by and refrain
From lifting a rock, but youth –
Youth picks it up and so begins the age
Of progress, sagacious and full of poets.
Pick up any rock and you’ll find a poet,
Fussing over stars, fainting into yesteryear.

Her, Poetry

by Stephen Fuller

I do not write poems for her,
true,
she completes the poem.
Words cannot replace
her presence.
Emotions inspired
by our love
told by the twinkling
wealth of night.

“Refining the heart like sour mash whiskey: Fumigate the fearful pt 2”

by Harry

Submitted by http://zaroffblog.wordpress.com

Take me by the hungry hand
whistling Dixie

smells like hot cracked pepper
airborne
Greek concrete women
no legs
perfect sculpted breasts
chests
holding up grey brick building columns
gussy up Gay street

Your words are like a chain

by Harry

Of truth, ungelded, linked.
Just one secret shines like gold
In the pulsing hollow of my throat.

Traversed

by Harry

Submitted by peter m burns
.

I traversed my thumb
Round the rim in
Concentric track,
Always forward,
Clockwise,
Never backwards, while
Thoughts hiding in folds of memory
Waiting for disembarkation,
Lined up for the attack.

MR. SNOWBODY.

by Harry

Submitted by philip g webster

.

Hello Mr. Snowbody its great to see you here.
Its been a while since you made me smile its been a lonely year
Hi there Mr. Snowbody its great to have you back to sit and chat in scarf and hat and eyes so shiny and black
My daddy made you years ago while I still heard the bells he said youd come back every year with presents from the elves
Last year as I yawned and stretched the sun lit up my room but all the sunlight ever fetched was sadness tears and gloom

sleep next to my heart

by Harry

Submitted by Katherine McKnight Shipp

I know you sleep next to my heart;
It’s your trophy, adorning a shelf.
It lulls you to dreams
With its tender heartbeat;
I have this same trophy myself.

We can go hand in hand

by Harry

Submitted by Katherine Shipp

We can go hand in hand
into the heart of the woods.
Our home is bereft
of holly and spruce;
let’s go into the heart of the woods.
We will gather up gladness
and bring home a holiday mood.

the now El Caminos
pullin’ through casinos

on wings
prayers
gas fumes

The Dream

by Harry

Submitted by Ed Ehren

.

Imagine a day, lets say in mid June
Just before morning becomes afternoon
You see a flash and then hear a boom
As a storm has arrived or one will very soon
As the branches blow off of the trees
You feel as safe as safe could be
Either sitting at home watching TV

I could but need the voice to compose

by Harry

Submitted by joy voss
.

I would, I could but need the voice to compose
A symphony , a song, a request or even better a petition for me,
The time ,the habits have changed and serve me ,
two eggs, two words are key. or even three words
that would (perhaps) SAY let it be done
To prove power, past all experiences .

Your intangible presence..

by Sandeep

I don’t have you anymore,
But, what does that even mean?
I have lost your physical presence,
In that, your ‘form’ no more exists,
As it once did.
But, were you form alone?
Or, was there more of you?
May be that which they call ‘spirit’?
