A Grass And Shrub

by Venkat

To expect, to see reality
Diverge in meaning
As do a grass and shrub
Teaching life in lessons

Both by color, green
Rooted on same ground
To unify them in mind
Merge, their meanings

Both by distance, firm
Under the same Sun
To accept as constant
Give, both same love

Different by strength
One flimsy, other strong
To question the verity
Change, each other

Different by weight
One light, other heavy
With unique purposes
Realise, beyond conflict

Made in their destinies
With unique ends
To serve different fauna
Find, last journey same

Separated by birth
Of different age and time
Children of same mother
Know, neither as better
