Kittens

kernels kind, karmic kitsch
karyogamic keys, kind kittens
keyboard kneaded, knurled knees
kittens’ knowhow, knight’s kaizen

THE SEDUCTIVE DELUSIONS OF SOMEDAY

Wisdom
Is Knowledge
Appropriately
Applied
To The Correct
Conditions

Are We Wise?
I Wonder,
But Have
My Doubts

It Seems
That Humanity
Is Quite Susceptible
To Herd Mentality

Leaving The Thinking
And Logical Reasoning
To Others And Then
Waiting For Them
To Explain What To Do

We All Know
Time Flies
And That Life
Is Short

But That Doesn’t
Seem To Stop Us
From Putting
Things Off
To Another Time,
‘Til Someday

We Believe
Since We Woke Up
This Morning
We Will Tomorrow

No Need To Worry
Or Rush Things
All In Due Time,
Someday!

There Is No Someday!
We Only Have Now!
Someday Is The Seductive
Delusion Of Fools
Who Won’t Ever
Turn Their Dreams
Into Reality

she lives a life of splendor
with white knights and prancing steeds
while I live like a vagabond
content to meet my needs 

the princess lives in fairy tales
high romance and fantasy

THE DREAM OF REALITY

the lights blur in the distance

my thoughts are doing the same

surrounded by darkness

with only momentary

and passing

instants

of clarity

and consciousness

Feeling Umwelt

Hemmingplay

Some days it’s all about limitations,
And while it’s no use complaining,
That’s never stopped me before.

I feel like a blind man living inside a kaleidoscope;
A glutton with but one taste bud left;
A monk who’s forgotten what he knew of God;
A tin-eared drunk waking up just as angels
burst across the heavens in song.
I’m a coma patient wrapped in wool,
strapped in a closet in a blackened room
in the back of the basement.

A clock is very useful.
It marks away the past
With little jumps that we can count.
We know how long stuff lasts.

Circle of Life

the heights I grew

on my younger thoughts

 

the strengths I built

into my older feelings

Bugle

Sounds
       they rolled merrily
       with tongues
       on these ears

Speaking
        they hurled silences
        of their hearts
        on these nerves

Unraveled

.

Here I stand

Unraveled

By the Sensual Delight

To Be Good

So were minds that went
to be Good
Spot on, on the right path

So were minds that did not care
So were minds that slept
So were minds that over-ate
So were minds that loved to hate

Handful of Water

In happy eyes
My hands fell in love
With the plant of knowledge

The time came
I poured my river of joy
in one handful of water
