The Indian Airshow

by Venkat

My heart thumped with blood

At a breath-taking sight

Soldiers on slender ropes

Hanging from helicopters

Flying high into the bright sky

My head spun with delight

At the aerobatic spectacle

Adrenalin shooting up

Fighter planes zooming as rockets

Twisting around in tandem

My eyes kissed the sight

Of four Russian planes dancing

The grip and power

Of the bold yet beautiful

Charm of colors, deafening sound

An unseen precision

Of timing and rhythm

Blasting the skies with energy

Making everyone proud

Watch the daredevils in play

Perform a mind-boggling art
