Out of the Pit

by berryflavoreddreams

Listen as I pray,

And now, close your eyes,

Your love, I must say,

Feel it, cold as ice.

Revenge I seek not,

To you I feel shame.

Playful as a dot,

But love’s not the same.

Though I wish you well,

I hope we made it.

Enchanted, I fell,

To fantasy pit.

Success, I climbed out,

It is bright here now.

Freedom as I shout,

I loved you somehow.
