A World Television Day Limerick

They don’t call it the Boob Tube for nothing

Could television be the world’s greatest invention?
It took entertainment to another dimension.
The sight and sound innovation
Forever changed communication…
But has it caused intellectual declension????

It would be hard to argue that it hasn’t!!!

    In the 60s in the UK, a boob tube was a top that was a simple tube of fabric covering the boobs to waist.
    But I agree that the TV has caused ‘intellectual declension.’ And I like the limerick.
