I consider myself an Idea Guy. The Making Them Happen part of the equation seems to elude me, but it does not discourage me nor deter me from coming up with new ideas. Every once in a while, I do have a great one and make it happen. But, more times than not….
Did the moon and stars align? This couldn’t possibly be the day where aliens are hungry to learn about our way of life – boy, are they in for a surprise!
Now, during a Crisis For Democracy, we must deal with the reality that one of our most sacred principles, Rule of Law, and the institution that is entrusted to guard it isn’t sacred anymore.
I have written about this before, and I will keep writing about it because it is a plague on this country that is never going to go away. Quite the opposite. It will only get worse because the people who can end it have a vested self interest in perpetuating it.
And, sadly, there were, and still are way too many drinking the Kool Aid.

Memorial Day is a National Holiday honoring all of the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice to keep the world safe from the worst evil and inhumanity known to man. Their sacrifice is the reason we have the freedom that we live under in the greatest country in the world. It is a day to reflect upon how a nation united can overcome anything that threatens our freedom. Happy Memorial Day.

First, these limericks are not jokes with punchlines. I have chosen this form of poetry for its efficiency. It is poetry – it has rhythm and rhyme. The creative effectiveness of the limerick is the setup and the last line. In five lines, it delivers a message and its brevity allows the author to semantically say more with less, which is my purpose here.

And, in hindsight, what their vows should have been.
The ideological polarization of America shares one thing – discontent and frustration with wealth inequality. It won’t be long before the marginalized right and the marginalized left will realize they are both victims of the same evil…God help us then…
His MAGA cult still worships him
And they’d start a civil war on a whim.
Their warped fixation
