She went for a walk,
Tripped on the sidewalk.
Bruised her elbow,
Broke her ankle.
Clumsy? Mindless?
Not her fault.
Roots of the trees,
Pushed up the concrete.
Walking at nightfall,
Ouch! She took a fall.
