Wishes of Love

I thought I am too young

Then of course Im old enough

A flipped a coin to see

What luck is ahead of me

I see the eyes of a twinkling soul

Now watch my beauty unfold

I’m a young lady to be fair

The sun still glints in my golden hair

But love is but a crooked thing

Would we be wise enough to begin

Our souls naked the light so bright

We head right in to believe no fight

All day long as the hours tick by

During the night while the stars light the sky

Even when shadows eat the moon

Love has us cocooned
