Sleep

Sleep

Blessèd sleep

Calls me

Whispers to me

Saying, “Come lay down your head

Let oblivion wraps its loving arms around you

Press the reset button

Let healing flow

Rest your weary head

Sleep”

  1. When read in the proper voice, an enchanting lullaby . . . Beautiful . . .

  2. Thanks both, I think I need to experiment with reading poetry aloud at some point and record it…

  3. Thanks Michelle – this is just what I need. A nasty bout of something’s knocked me sideways these last few days and though I’ve enjoyed again the healing rays of the sun today, healing sleep is what I need tonight. Comforting words.

  4. Going to sleep soon 🙂
