There are times when music soothes
Most times I can tap or sing along
Occasionally it makes me thoughtful
Has me wonder what’s right or wrong.
I can hear the words and feel them
The music flows as through my veins
All the feelings in the vocals connect
Relating all life’s joys, sorrow, pains.
Music is synonymous with life blood
With no music, we feel lost and cold
Have you not found fingers tapping
It is ingrained in the young and old.
Whatever music it is that moves you
Feel the words, the music, the soul
If you can’t find your way without it
Let it move you, take you to a goal.
