Three Wishes

by Venkat

wish anger
were a whisper of breeze
a bubble of tender death

not rain drops
pinching in grand unison
upon roof of the tender mind

wish pride
were a soft passing cloud
as vapor to vanish ever

not mountains
of rocky terrain, growing
by roots tight into heart

wish desire
were a ray of light
spreading beyond itself

not a breath
made to last ever
for a purpose to self alone
