And As The Sun Sets – The Twenty Eight

and as the sun sets – boldly
conquering this wide valley
in shades of red and purple
the moment seems so holy

oh light and dark
woven together
in unity –
the here and now
universal
eternity
of light and dark

as sun sets
the beauty of life
expands me
beyond death
now – the star-lit sky opens
unto transcendence
