The place

by Bhavya Prabhakar, India

The place falls

The place calls

The place reminiscing

The ones with horns

The ones with holes

In the journey

Of the time.

The place sucks

The place chucks

The place twinning

With the ray of hopes

In the lost memories

Of the unheard notes.

A Writer’s fear

by Megha's World
kelly-sikkema-374737-unsplash.jpg
I’m trying to balance these words
on the tip of the lead
so precariously
where they tip and falters
and every single word, every syllable
every article
loses its balance
it’s epicenter
and starts falling off
falling off at the edges
in the deep abyss of the unknown
where I can’t seem to salvage them anymore
they are lost in the numb darkness
stumbling in every nook and corner
and can’t  seem to find their way
back
to me
where they can start to make
sense together again.

Approaching The Garden

by Ellespeth

Approaching The Garden

When it’s time to water the garden
throw open the gate.
Prepare a path
for fairies and elves
and all things magical.

Poet’s Bane – A humorous poem

by Georgia

Poet’s Bane

Insomnia visited that night,
Leaving the poet in a state of strain.
His intentions once pure and bright,
Became a dark and sinister bane.

Poetry Challenge: Separated

by Rana

POETRY CHALLENGE: FREE VERSE.

The days have turned

to weeks and months; they burn

against my fingertips

as maturing turns to aging. I’ve learned

that it’s not about the quips

of lyricism and tricks and tips,

it’s about not quitting

when your mind starts to trip.
