With an obese world
crimping your shoulders,
you shriek
at your delinquent son.

He could’ve been a tower
but he’s burning,
because you didn’t build him
with sincere hands
years ago.

Vulnerable tender young minds

Designed by adults in sight

Milk No Sugar

I wonder about the

words I write.

I know I say they’re for you

but is it safe,

to pour myself into a

glass jug like this,

vulnerable, exposed?

Maybe you will just

stir me into your tea.

Am I?

As my heart races under
goose bumped skin,
tell me if i’m too weak
to devour every
word that comes out
of your mouth.

Or say if i’m not.

Untitled.

I am watching myself do
things i’ve never done.
Like travelling down cities
only to see you briefly.

I can hear myself say
words i will never say again.
Like begging you to stay
forever.
