I Sit Alone In Silence
As A Summer Afternoon
Slowly Surrenders
To The Evening Sunset

twilight
poured off the nest
life to hatch tomorrow
smiles bandaged on yesterday’s bones

warm moon

At Twilight…

Two figures on a darkened shore
down by the glistening sand
Out there in the distance
walking hand in hand

This is a time for lovers
with a new moon in the sky
As, on a turning tide, the waves
whisper with a sigh

To grin or not to grin

And there out to the distant West
Gold fades across the sea
As twilight swiftly passes
and the night time comes to me

At twilight down on Shoreham Beach
When the light is fading fast
And the whisper of the turning tide
Is dark as we walk past

The rising moon out to the East
Glistens on wet sand
Bright just like the sunshine
In the shadows where we stand

in endless delight

Twilight sheen

Renew

Soft is the twilight that lingers so calm

Reflections of beauty, becoming my balm

Winter Twilight

 

At the end of a long and busy day
The sky is dressed in lacy gray
With a sigh she dips her toes
Into a twilight of delicate rose

This is the half-light
The magic time
Deep blue light
Fresh born stars
Tales weaving
In expectant air

Transparent

I never think of you
In my dawning
When dreams have early gone
and the day is eager

I never think of you
As Father Time
Drifts like lazy blossoms
Beneath a cathedral
Of boughs
