Too Soon Yore – Triquint poetry challenge

I’ve taken up this triquint poem challenge.  I don’t usually do poetry forms so I decided to really torture myself and attempt a triquint.

scattered understanding of a triquint poem
lines 3 and 4 repeat in each verse
line 5 rhymes in each verse
9,7,5,3,1
aaAAb (hmmm? not sure with the capital A’s mean)

Poetry challenge, Triquint poem,

Triquint Poem.

A poem form created by Sylvia A. Feeley, which consists of 3 verses, 5 lines each.

Lines 3 and 4 of verse 1 (Refrain) repeat in verses 2 and 3.

The syllable count for each stanza is 9, 7, 5, 3, 1 and has an aaAAb rhyme scheme
