Relays the words I want to say

about the things I’ve done

about what I am feeling

when I’m happy or I’m glum

like a comfort blanket they
Calming me and warming
in a very special way

I’ll take these words and scatter
like confetti to the breeze
to celebrate the marriage
of a verse to rhymes like these
