Strong

strong they said, as ivory on feet
strong they said, in marble
strong was the way to be

Time to Get Up

While I may have restarted,
but I never switched off,
and that’s how I believe
in just Going on..

All the obstacles of the world
do seem to exist in just one life
but that very life exists
for each one of us I find..

He or Me?

And while I thought
I could manage it up all,
With my attitude 
So strong..

A mere thought 
of finally calling him up
Made me blush
Like a rosy flower..

Strength: No Escape

my truth, complete, indivisible
no thirst, no doubt, no yearn
it stands by itself, for itself
no misgivings, no speculation

We Are Trees

With due respect to Peter’s format. I love it

We are trees
Meant to be firm
Look high towards the sky
With roots strong
Deep within

I Want To Know Why

I want to know why I wasn’t brave or strong or true,
Why all I’ve ever done is love only you?
I want to know why I’ve been so selfish and so weak,
Why, when it mattered most, I could never bring myself to speak?

Tranquil Repose
