Poetry challenge: Sonnet poem.
I have been Cyrano for far too long,
Hiding behind my nose and sing song words,
Roxanne, my dear, I have done you so wrong,
Because I have been loving you in thirds,
Not letting you see who I really am,
Concealing these feelings I feel for you,
My finger stuck in the dyke and damn,

What follows is a Heroic Crown Sonnet (Sonnet Redouble)
The Heroic Crown sonnet is based on a Crown of Sonnets
an explanation follows the series
Of Greatness Calling – Poetry Challenge – Sonnet Poem
Sonnet I – The Seed
Herald kings in knightly squares
where light may shine on youth’s one chance
to leave, to hope and earn such wares
beyond the pale eyed squire’s glance.
Find amidst the people’s crowd
one blue eyed boy, blonde and tan,
whose heart beats strong and sorely loud
with dreams of knighthood as a man.
So be a dream at gate’s parade
where sure his heart must hold him still?
Yet dreams tonight in summer’s glade
grow amid his strength and will,
that from his stars and purpose torn,
where through their very nature, born.

A dream that is real comes now in my sight
Glorious hues, early morning sunrise
Sunset abounding, Heaven in the night
My favorite dream before my own eyes

Poetry challenge: Sonnet poem.
Submitted by djgrrr17
Wishing so long has all but killed my dreams,
Truth, in effect, has watered flames of hope.
As a carriage fixed with double teams
Love has flown, and fact gnaws at the rope.
Waiting, wondering when life will unfold
I stand amidst the sky and watch the stars,
