Life Is So Fast Paced
Anymore
And Time Seems So
Fleeting
With Us
Rushing Around
In Our Own
Little Whirlwinds
The Roses
Go Unsmelled
Along With The Coffee,
Too
We Are Always
Leashed Up
To Electronics
And The Whole
Wide World
Around Us
While The Important
And The Lovely
Are Left Unattended
And Not Admired
I Want To Stop
Our World
From Spinning
Around Us
In A Vortex
I Need To
Hold You
In My Arms
And Look
Into Your Eyes
For You Are
My Anchor,
You Are My World
And All That
Really Matters
To Me
We Need To
Protect
The Shangri La
Of Us
So We Can
Grow Old
Together
And Still Be
In Love
