In Need of Maintenance

For months I stood there
Teetering upon the precipice;
It being clear what I should do
Yet all I would or could choose
Was to merely waste away in fear.

The Jewish people of the world call this time between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur “The Days of Awe.” This is a time for reflection and introspection and self realization. It is a time for spirituality and fellowship.
