Puzzlegate

Framed by aging iron posts
the ancient steps behind
the padlocked gate lead nowhere
(least no place I could find)

Mysterious the setting
with the undergrowth and tree
left me puzzled and a-wondering
at what it all could mean

Colored days passing

Puzzled

The color is at least a brown,
though it shades a bit of red
with purple tones at corners
and the interlocking tab.

Pieces, You Hold

Maybe, this world lies scattered
Uneven, edged irregular

Maybe, this world lies broken
Huddled in heaps, shaped to misfit

Hallucination

Happiness
It seemed
Being a perfect fit

Sadness
It seemed
Being a misfit

Unscrambling Life

Lord, scramble me enough
To unscramble myself
till the night

hands groping for the door
along tight edges of this dark
