so devoutly

buckled on thick titanium plates

donned my Templar helm

until only eyes

only mouth

were visible

What Type of Wall

At one time or another we all put up walls around our heart
Maybe to protect what we feel we have with a special one
Perhaps it is to shield from pain we feel headed our way
Think what type of wall do you have when you are done.

Too often taken for granted

A cloud appears.

Rolling majestically by.

Hiding the sun.

Goodnight, God bless…

It’s the smile on a face that forever masks out the sadness.

It’s the approving look that lets you continue with your business.

She never judges,

Never makes snide remarks.

Is never cruel,

Or heartless.

Her blanket comforts you as you lay in your bed of protection.

Out on your motorbike
With no crash helmet.
It ends up in hospital.
You needed protection.

In the local brothel.
Girls are working hard.
Security mans on guard.
They all have protection.
