Colored days passing

ABC Poem: A Self Portrait

as I draw pictures from time
believing in their depth
choosing grave memories
dreams, wishes unfulfilled

Don’t you dare misconstrue my tears

as a sign of weakness,

It is for your own good, I say,

Coz the day I decide to put you down,

you will only be left

Talking to the Mirror (Self Portrait)

Who is this brazen girl

I see in front of me,

who loves to speak her mind,

wears her heart on her sleeve?

Who is this crazy woman

who seems utterly lost,

yet gathers herself in time,

no matter what the cost?

Who is this sexy lady

so confident of her body,

as if it has no flaws

and nothing to be sorry?

The Grey Lady (Sonnet)

From a portrait, black and white
Eyes that peer into my soul
Angel in my thoughts ignite
The fires that burn in my skull
The soft features of her face
Reverently reconciled

Portrait

Life under the glistening pupil

resonates through me like

coffee in the early morning

hours, opening my eyes to

see I am just a small sparkle
