Poet’s Corner – A Ray of Sunshine
For all you poets, there’s a special place,
with arms open wide, ready to embrace
poets young and old
all into the fold.
Community is the most special place.

I love posting my poems here, and reading all the other submissions.
For that reason I have nominated Poet’s Corner for the Sunshine Award over at my blog:

Birthday Musings
There’s nothing like a birthday to remind yourself
how old you really are….
As a ONE year old,
You stare wide-eyed in wonder- slightly bemused, a little irritable,
with a thumb in your mouth, somewhere in a corner,
Wondering what the commotion’s all about…..
as your parents go out of their way
to make your birthday memorable,
One that you can now barely remember!
