darkness quails

against light and laughter

each dawn

 

mist – haiku

wind battered kite tails
tattered respectability
clouds, just misty dreams
We dream of rain drops
planting tomorrow’s hope
Yet we fear the storm

twill – noku

Not quite a haiku, a noku

tea leaves to read a heart
coalesce bare torn twill strands
no plural in one voice
