Where do you see God?

My thoughts voiced as a lightening rod

Speaking with true conviction

My answers in no confliction

With actions spoken louder than word

It’s warm inside with muted song
My mama purrs this is where you belong
I float and twirl not a care in this world
You dream of me to be unfurled

I cannot see but float and twist
Swooshing waves of fluid to resist
I hear your heart pounding deep
My life depends on this drum beat

Newborn Moments

When I look at you,

I know what love looks like.

When I hear you sigh,

I know what love sounds like.

Blissful Sadness

New mothering
brought me joy.
Blissful willingness
I gave of myself.
 
Nothing perturbed
or was too much
to tend to this babe
that I had birthed.
