Here we are
at another artificial
division,
arbitrary distinction,
in the flow’s design.
An abstraction we experience
linearly
punctuated by episodic
circumstances
playing themselves out
over time.
Some,
heartbreakingly painful,
such as loves lost,
others, utterly sublime.
