Stretching, Dawn yawned

Light plays upon horizons

Sirens seeking sailors

Saturn Peering through His Ring, Dreaming in the Dark

Ten thousand one wings in the lion’s ring,
Holy and houndish in pursuit from mountain;
Trembling are the shadows of the dogdayed age,
Widowed from the Summerland, adieu.

An Unnatural Storm

A flash of lightning catches my eye.
From steel beams brightness springs
Bringing vibrant, ephemeral life
To the skeleton being constructed
Across the station parking lot.

Muse of my morning

Restoreth my soul

Night has held me fast…

With waking dreams –

Mysterious things
Open wide your arms

Beckon Dawn wake

From silent starlit slumber…

Neptune’s Muse

Contentment fills her restless mind

Slowly she steps, without care

Would that thou shalt love me in my laten years

Oblivious to Times wrinkles – youthful, in comparison to my peers
And when these eyes no longer see, an Antigone wilt thou be for me

As a child catching fire flies one by one

I thought them pieces of the sun
Placed on night stand safe in mason jar

I’d watch each flicker, think of places afar,

The Serenity Room
The voice of undying love
Whispers to the dying:

Love of my youth
My adorable Adonis
Age has come upon us
Here, take my hand,

~ Resplendent ~

 

Dawn breaks over the horizon
Splinters of light cascade,
Filtering through dense wood
To land upon the water
As diamonds from the Gods;

The vale of Enna, where posies abound,
She tenderly plucks them from the ground,
Demeter as always, favors the soil,
With an abundance of growth that does not toil.

Oh sing a hymn to Demeter,
Suffer her anguish and pain,
Oh sing a hymn to Demeter,
