So, how much control you have on your feelings? You think you have mastered your desires and the no temptation can stir your soul. You think you have tamed the demons inside you. Wait and watch till the next temptation shows up.
Wait till the demon shows up.

Little Thought

by Megha's World
Everyone is living in this rampant chaos called reality. We are swarmed by ideas and thoughts every living second. So, sometimes when we are asked just to focus on one thought, one lonely thought, in your mind.It gets very difficult.

Sometimes I wonder, how will it feel to have just one thought in our mind.
Have you ever wondered?

There is a thought, one deep lonely thought
Wandering in my mind

An estranged thought;
A little bit unkind.

She Stood

by A. L. O'Prunty

Upon a precipice high
Fell into an infinite sky
Found her space, her center there
Prior she’d been unaware
Nature had so much to give
Climbing down she decide to live
Where the horizon embraces the setting sun

by amongmyfrivolousthoughts

Let’s be happy today

Because today is a moment

We shall carve into history’s skin

So hold it within your palms

A drop of liquid gold sunshine

As a ONE year old,
You stare wide-eyed in wonder- slightly bemused, a little irritable,

with a thumb in your mouth, somewhere in a corner,

Wondering what the commotion’s all about…..

as your parents go out of their way

to make your birthday memorable,

One that you can now barely remember!

Musings by the Shore

by Apurva

The soothing lullaby of the waves-

gently caressing the shore,

                                    The invigoratingly cool breeze

                           beckoning you to soar,

        The grainy soft sand

                           tickling your bare sole,

as you step out of the waters,

feeling blissfully whole!

Poetry as pain reliever

by sustainabilitea

(Harry, thanks for the invitation to be a part of Poet’s Corner.  Bill’s been talking about this blog and I’m honored to be part of it.  The following is a poem I posted on my blog,, and one that I hope the other poets will enjoy or identify with.   janet)

I used to write a lot of poetry. I think mostly it was a way to work through pain or difficulties. Where I am today, I don’t write much poetry. Perhaps because I am content. Or maybe I write prose poetry or create poetry through cooking, being a better friend, writing cards or creating a home. At any rate, here’s something from my very distant past.
