Your notes fly through my innermost existence
talk of longing and love
melody tears at my contentment
what little there is of it

Mornings, murmur my muse
Musings, murmur my motifs

Do You Hum Along

 

There are times you need to hear a song
Something to make your mind go elsewhere
Maybe it will make you simply pause in time
It can paint a picture that will take you there.

Silence

 

Silence sang a song
with no words I could hear
Someone said there was an echo
although not anywhere near
It was somewhere out there
across the water at night
quiet and mysterious
and out of my sight

Bells Of Peace

a rope of knowledge to pull us far
as a clapper in a sound bow

Music – Past and Present

As the world turned with time
From years of the past century
Music, evolved from country rhyme
As one opens pages of history

pied piper

A Pied Piper  rustic  but humane

gathers chidren behind him

runs into an Asylum on his way

The desolate ,  needy greeted by

The differently -abled hugged n cheered

leads them around, piping music

sits them by the table

A Pause, Melodic

Stars of darkness may disappear
As Sun engulfs them out of sight
Love shining, eternal to you dear
Bright ever, as day’s sky in night

Midwinter’s Song

Your melody plays in perfect time

falling upon my heart

cradled in heavens arch

I listen as you pass

sensing your breath as it blows

fogging the frozen window in crystalline lace

where through my sleepy gaze

I sway like the draping branches

of the young willow pausing the ripples

A Chapter After The River

Always lovely, always a part of me,

The taste of bittersweet agony,

Ina melody, of a brilliant symphony,

heard by every inch of my body.
