A “March Madness Miracle(?)” Limerick

This has been an interesting March Madness for me. For one thing, I did not play in a private bracket pool which I always do. It’s different for me now that I am married and I have to let the wife know that I need to send a check off so that I can have action on the many hours of basketball that I am going to be watching for three weeks.

A “March Madness” Limerick

The NCAA basketball tournament is arguably the second biggest sporting event in America next to the Super Bowl. There are billions wagered and many millions of people participate in some type of bracket pool. This year, Warren Buffet’s Berkshire Hathaway is underwriting a billion dollar contest for Quicken Loans that is capped at 15 million entries. That is the only bracket contest I am in….and out of…after THE FIRST GAME of the tournament. I had Ohio State, my daughter’s alma mater.
