Nursing A Whiskey
In The Middle Of The Afternoon
With A Far Away Look In His Eyes

I Sat Down Next To Him
And Asked The Barkeep For A Beer
To Quench The Thirst
Of A Humid Summer Day

I have a heart for the ocean

no reference to movies
or films here extended)

It’s something that’s rooted
Deep in my being
Helped every day by the
views I am seeing
