NOT MEANT TO BE

by thereluctantpoet

By Bree Leto – Secret Thoughts Within and Charles Robert Lindholm – The Reluctant Poet

DIVORCE

There are many things you can’t control

Your heart

Another’s heart

no matter how much you might want to
HOPES AND WISHES

It is a fact of life that

hopes and wishes

dreams and prayers

don’t always happen or come to pass

DEAD END
We may have relationships and love

that we have always dreamed of

but sometimes

happenstance

fate or luck

intervene and force a change

to our plans and choices

ONLY FOR AWHILE

Not all relationships

are meant to be forever

sometimes they are only meant

to be for awhile

There may be many things you can’t control

but there are some things you can
DREAMS

Maybe it’s time to dream a new dream

It might be time to

move on

forgive and forget

let go

YOUR OWN PATHWAY

and follow your own pathway

TO A BETTER LIFE

into a new and better life

A RAINBOW’S PROMISE

by thereluctantpoet

By Keza – Spiritedsoul and Charles Robert Lindholm

Resistance Is A Self Taught Way
A Means Of Self-Defense

To Stay True To Oneself
And What One Believes

A Wall, A Shield
Preventing Being
Caught Up In Messes Made By Others

My Mind Is Full Of Dreams,
Visions And Memories

Replaying Them
Over And Over Again
In My Head

What Once Was,
No Longer Exists,
There Is Only Ashes
Left Behind From Miserable Days

But I Resist
Lies And Hopelessness
Knowing Darkness Will End
When The Light Of Truth Shines
And Rainbows Promise
Better Days
And Hope

UNDER THE SPELL OF A LOVER’S MOON

by thereluctantpoet

By Keza/Spiritedsoul And Charles Robert Lindholm

Under The Spell
Of A Lover’s Moon
Her Heart Was
Once Broken

With The Foolish
Dreams And Lies
Of Youth
And Young Love

She No Longer Cries
For What Was Lost
And Could Have Been
So Long Ago,
Except In The Midnight Light
Of A Lover’s Moon

When Forgotten
Memories Escape
Her Heart And
Invade Her Dreams

She Found
The Strength
Inside Her
Heart And Soul

To Stand Up

To Forgive
To Forget
To Let Go
And To Move On

She Looked Around
And Found
A Different Path
For Her Life
That Is Her Own

The One She Shares
With Her Daughter

Taunts me in my sleep

Pulls my back to you

Breath of Love

by maiasong

A deeper shade of brown

paints a cherished scene

to hang in your heart of memories

~

In tender moments like this

I quietly sit

holding your worn hands

and with my open heart

I trace the lines

that maps the memories

of such love

I can only imagine

I HATE YOU

by elamany

wounded

Insert your knife

Go deeper and deeper

Do not stop

Just kill and slowly do it

Can’t you just see

That whole emptiness

That hole you made in me

the moment you carelessly left

A moment

my heart will not forget

The moment

I

hated you

Deeply and furiously
