cathartic the thought
as the planted seed there grows
stronger by the day
and what was once just a dream
sees reality

This week as Friday arrives
from many miles come
weary I succumb to rest
into the weekend
Rejuvenation complete
quickened to Monday

Sunday, ah - the rest and peace
unimportant - time
These are all my hours to spend
with choice and fancy
whim and nonchalance
For the pleasures of my choice
until evening comes
