Horizon birds

Always there is the horizon. And never it is making sense
It is no line, but just an abrupt ending,

I pride myself in my hope in all things

I oft’ seek company with the stars

No matter my shade that day

The stars tell me of their adventures

Of the dragons that were slew in the

Torch lit night

Oh, how the swords did gleam bright

When life seems cruel, too hard to bear,

all the tedious responsibilities leaving no time to spare,

I stop in my tracks and ask myself,

“Of what use is life? Is this how I fare?”.

I find a darkness and it clouds my sight,

no hopeful thought to make the horizon bright.
