Saying Goodbye

It’s finally time to say goodbye

Across the stars you soar up high

My love could not hold you close forever

Away you go, slumber in peace.

Crumpled Life

Life becomes a cascading nightmare
eerily hushed when those severed tears are
free flowing.

Arms wrap around stained bundles
of ruby red wine, blue grass and lipstick
pink collars.

Smoke

your eyes were like myna’s wings and dark
with distress and delight stamped into the iris
thin phantom white hair like cotton in the light
smoke above us in weaves and ash scrapings

In Winter

in winter
i cover my hands and feet
in the warmth of secrecy
my fingers feeling loosely
the familiar tinge of hell

An Ode to Winter

The last dregs of winter are washed away
By a greening rainstorm – outlandish weather
To greet the spring.

Coming Back

Go now, be happy
Live your life to the full.
Don’t give ‘us’ a backward glance.
Don’t let my presence pull.

I’ll be alright now
I know how to be strong.
You won’t see me hurting.
To show you would be wrong.

Saying goodbye is never easy,

Tears in eyes, heart heavy,

Overwhelmed mind, gushing memories,

of days gone by, in a jiffy,

If only you’d say, I’m not ready…

Blue Love

I just hate how you give me that feeling,

Longing you but wanting you to go far.

Beside you I am bleeding,

When you go you leave me a scar.

Let’s just stop for a while,

Your my weakness but not my strength.

Your warm embrace, Your chilling face,

 I lose it all, then I just fall.

I give and love,  I free the dove.

You’re gone away, my love’s astray.

Your mystery, can’t hide from me.

When I’m around, to you I’m bound.

My heart can see, set the truth free,

For all this time,  I know you’re mine.

Time never stops for us to say goodbye
The lingering pause, the words known our minds deny
Winds of change a breeze now but soon to blow
By summer’s end that one of us must go
