When I’m free

Friday comes and here I find
myself in pensive mood
so it would be a sacrilege
and bordering on the rude
not to seize advantage of 
a day when I'm not working
and use it to fulfilment
not of squander or of shirking

The free

I got up early
the sun was a blaze
it didn't feel much
like a day for a laze
so with coffee inside
I ventured out there
dressed up for the chill
as I still have a care
and greeted the day
as it greeted me
the sun as a tonic
to help with the free

I Dream

I dream not of titles before my name,
nor of trophies to adorn my shelf
I dream my simple heart stays the same;
that I do not lose my undecorated self

I dream not of precious gold,
nor of shallow fame
I dream of having stories to be told,
and of having a bigger aim

do what I want

when I want

how I want

 

I am free

to be me

 

Bound in Infinity

pleasures, earth bound

true love, a free bird

A Soil For Free

in the blink of an eye
humans so multiply
reaching earth’s corners
yet turning into loners

creative sparks soar
balloons let loose, by a child
chill breeze, soul flutters

Setting The Spirit Free

as images form in mind
of keen desire or revulsion

Fangs of Thought

Some measure its weight
Yet do not get it straight

Listen as I pray,

And now, close your eyes,

Your love, I must say,

Feel it, cold as ice.

Revenge I seek not,

To you I feel shame.

Playful as a dot,

But love’s not the same.

Every Moment of Pain

A grimace from every wound

Piercing the nerve

Unusual self, least attuned

Without control, thoughts swerve

I have often found

Life’s conundrum inside

Losing my ground

With loneliness beside
