The full moon rises,
Glistening like a fresh silver dollar
As Mother Earth lets off steam
And unbuttons her stifling collar
To feel the breeze of the Sun’s departure.
Eagerly I wait at the window
For my moon to come home,
So I can feel the breeze of his sigh
As he sits on his leathery black throne
And watches me with contentment from on high.

longest daytime too
Sunshine brought the magic
for this middle day of June

and hit some balls around
But they went in all directions

the happiness of a day in May
is beyond measure and my say
like adding a fresh page to a book worn
it was the day when my son was born
whitish pink was his color
like a brand new rose flower
bells were ringing in my ears
and eyes swelled with joyful tears
