Of this world…

by Sandeep

A face lay there in eternal sleep,
No smile.
No frown.
I wonder,
“After all, smiles and frowns are of this world”.

“Mine”

by Sandeep

I own nothing
The ideas I present
The feelings I feel
The thoughts I think
And, the words I used
Or continue to use to express myself.
Everything, ever that has been
Has been through:
Absorption, assimilation, memorization
Recollection, repetition and more memorization.

The Curvature of Water

by HemmingPlay

The curvature of water

And here, in the kingdom of clouds,
vast continents of mist
dwarf the mountains,
lumber lightly
in from the ocean,
float improbably, silently.
They sometimes, when the air is cold,
leak acres of crystal
in the high wilderness of fir and grizzly,
burying the trees and crags of the
inaccessible mystery in white.

And here, over the empire of emeralds,
they sweep and swell and
break apart and spill out
mighty rivers and silver lakes,
wash the air clean and
sift down through my willow tree,
bit by drop, sink from sight and
hurry to refill the ocean.

Untouched Earth

by Renwick Berchild

It all falls away when building, the mind chiseling
A fever dream starting at the high, never getting down
To the low. And lower is the stair stepping away
Fast as a mare in full stride on open plain, whistling
Grasses notwithstanding, there’s a howl unheard.

The Woodland

by Renwick Berchild

I am inferior. Let me say it.

Let it roll on my tongue, get pressed to my inner cheek, let it
fall out to the earth, let the solar rays shine on it,
the rain hammer over it,
the soil encapsulate it,
have it arise.

The Sound of Night

by Linda Lee Lyberg

The Sound of Night

-Linda Lee Lyberg

Listen to the whisper of crisp autumn leaves
Where by design, He magnificently weaves
An aria of sweet music for the weary soul
Void of silence broken as darkness slows.

Running Leaf Above the Moor

by Renwick Berchild

She says I am the leaf sent out to sail the air across the moor.

Quietude and Rolling are my calling, to be tossed and savaged
like the sea.

Respite is a foreigner, who gallops as a steed
far from my body, as if it were the conduit of its destruction.

The Grass Does Not Bend

Down the empty road, a monk in my shawl

The Green and Blue

by Renwick Berchild

There is the smell
Of moss and green. A color
Like a thief. Stealing land, smothering
Hillsides and the trees. This
Essence, the Qi, of the
Leaf and blade, settles here
(On my breast) and cracks me open
To lift my heart.

The Great Green

by Devina

(via Pinterest)

I stand on the very edge
Of the cliff that lorded over
The lush pine forest
Like nothing I’ve never seen before
Just a plummeting step away
But I’m not like that
I’m here for the life of it all
I might as well be at the end
Of the world
An endless green horizon
Blessedly untouched
I revel in the purity
Of this emerald sea
Rippling of branches
Waving at the sky
With the wind fueling the tide

The Narrative of the Earth’s Revenge

by soad88

“Why do you allow a hateful and ignorant creation to desecrate my soil?”

“Though most of man is evil, a small group holds unto truth.”

“But why let them commit such evils and walk free?”

“They do not walk for long and their youth is limited.”

“Let me have my vengeance upon man.”

“So you shall have it so. For when their phase is done”

“Which One Is It?”

by I HAVE A VOICE

431163_399364410090254_231409986885698_1664659_1970699566_n

The black sun deepens upon earth’s face
Mercifully reaching to the core of my soul
And binding up my heart—
Mother Earth is breathing under my feet,
Dreaming like God for its fullness to be
Begotten—
I feel her suffering as my fingers trace
The dying child, the empty womb, recalling
A paradise forgotten—
This crevice, this rock from where I watch
Hide me between awe and pain
Like a crying harp—

Spring is …

Spring is a warm sigh

Melting the frosty snow that

Hides the slumbering flowers

Escorting winter out of the back door

Spring is a wake up call to those tweeters in the trees

Spring is when we feel the smile of the sun,
