Day’s dimples dug deep
Dangle dreams, dilemmas
Dancing daisies, daggers
Demons die, daffodils dull
Daffodils do, demons devour

If This Were My Last Day

A question, asked for pleasure
To unnerve the restless mind
A choice given, hard to measure
On your last living day to find

Away From Suitcase Words.

Taking my dilemma-seat on the red-eye express –
Please let it be a save-soul flight
Hoping to be carried away from
Cheap hotel rooms and suitcase words
Towards a different kind of trigger light.
