Seeds of Everything

where swans flap not their wings
where waters keep no shadows
where eyes see nothing

Stop and Stare

Stop and stare

At the mirror

Is it the same reflection

When you were guilty?

 

The guilt raised the voice,

“I am not guilty

Of the old sin

Cemented with heavy bricks

Of the cold war.”

 

Senses Treacherous

coffee tracks, fresh drops
brew memories over the brim
words in sweet, crooked wit
play echoes on the wall

Thread of Life

on this round leaf, of blue and brown
you let me in, a tendril with a heart
curling my feelings, of yesterday
thinning my dreams, into tomorrow

Dip doves, dainty ducks

Dewdrops dumb, daisies dull

Dates dizzy, distances drawn

A Truth Resplendent

petals I saw as broken
when the sky was young
broke in my heart

till your light blew
resplendent upon tears

Sticky World

Stick me not

    Silky mountains

    Rivers of tulips

    You love robed, in white snow

 

Life

You are an ocean
Wide, yet deep
Soft, yet wild

Deep

Is that love deep,
that looks not at hate
as a possibility

Roots, Deep

I have roots, deep
Do I need permission
To hold this soil, my mother
Who is mine

The Inner Search

how could I measure
with my two inch thread
this yarn of life I adorn

The Fool I Am

does a flower ever wish to ‘become’?
to be beautiful
does the sun ever ‘want’ to shine?
to shed its glow

Into Deep

I’m not into deep
But when I look at you
I see the storm’s coming
I hear the waves roaring
I feel the rain flowing

Essence of Life

To not see things as they are
a sign of madness

To not see things as they are
a sign of stupidity

When Waves Collide

I was astound by your love

I ran fast against the current
Down to the bottom of the ocean bed

The Gap

Wonder why?
A gap between speech and thought
To bridge till I die
Tougher than many battles I fought

Wonder why?
A gap between reality and perception
To discern hard, I try
Longer than any struggle since inception

Clock On The Wall

O clock on the wall
You move on, never slow
As I rise in life or fall
Your lesson, I need to know

Your hands never stop
Never caught in past
Into future you never drop
Only the present does last

Love is all you never know
