HAIKU: THE CHRISTMAS TREE – REPRISE
Christmas Tree, Damned Christmas Tree
Based on O Tannenbaum (Oh Christmas Tree).
A Christmas tree, a Christmas tree!
In search of you my day’s spent.
A Christmas tree, a Christmas tree!
Search through the woods so fervent.

The Forbidden Toy
Christmas Poem: Challenge
As I look up, and up, my neck craning,
at dazzling lights and sparkling balls,
my inner desire I’m restraining,
as I wait patiently for one to fall.
Each night I lay dreaming of obtaining
my rightful prize; for now I’m abstaining.
As their footsteps approach, I turn away,
An “Interfaith Marriage” Limerick
That Christmas feeling
The Memory Tree

The Memory Tree
Tell me, tell me what you see? A Christmas Tree? No, no this is a memory tree. Such a spell it weaves for me I see my children’s lives opening a rewind, that is what I see. Tiny toys and decorations made with love a Santa stuffed with wool and a star made from an old glove.
A drummer boy an angel too all kinds of pretties made from coloured paper, sparkles and glue. Some were made at Nursery or school and some at home, what fun we had it was all so cool. There is an angel on the highest branch she looks like she is smiling at a glance.
