I caught a glimpse of Heaven’s Christmas in my dream the other day,

Of angels playing on the sun in such a childlike way.

Swinging on the crescent moon, singing of Christ’s Birth,

I realized it was Christmas,  high above the earth.

Words cannot describe the colors of prisms sparkling glow,

For only glorious colors reflecting were seen here below.

Watching Jeannie,  Mom and Dad  sitting at Jesus feet,

Made the wonderful Christmas dream nearly complete.

in the square warm candles glow
lighting up bright gifts –

Got Turkey…?

Fowl play on Christmas day.
Bird won’t thaw for anything.
The birth of the gizzard delays.
Purple sacks still frozen inside.

Christmas Snow

Today, in winter’s first day glory,
I’ve walked ‘neath frozen giants, gold,
held to sun in morning’s story
with midnight’s snow and breezes cold.

By brook in babbling, thawing chorus,
amidst the chirp of Christmas birds,
we pause in awe at sights before us
and listen still for nature’s words.

Christmas Eve – morn

Enveloped in white.
“It’s Christmas Eve.”
The children sing.
Heralded glorious birth.
Our newborn King.

Tis the Season To Be…

A season of blessings and sharing,

A time of feasting and carolling,

A moment for remembering kindness,

Beyond the barren, desperate plains,

The Weary, Calling to Heaven from earth;

Countless generations Cry in pain,

Breathlessly Awaiting a Royal Birth.

Light and Liberty, Outward Reaching,

Through all the years of Tribulation;
