The Buck

by Jem Croucher
At the Buckingham Arms with my Bro for a beer
Our local, our pub - we both love it here
Conversation will flow and we'll have a good time

Dream Sand Castles

by Colly

cool girl yellow

Golden apples and sunsets in May.
Cherished memories to keep for always.
A dolly carriage, full, of carrots to the brim.
A neighbor, left, quibbling, “the carrots are gone.”
Cucumbers in a garden taste so right.
“Such a delight you veg’s could, all, gather here t-day.”
A cherry tree echoes of sweet ruddy treats.
Clusters of jubilant fruit bobble on stems.

My Brother’s Pride

by S. K. Reiter

I travel to my brothers party,
ready to laugh loud and hearty.
His daughter today has made the grade,
and now it’s time to throw her parade.
He brings her friend since second grade,
to grow the fun that they have made.
